How to add a new internal number to an existing user?

In Hipcall, you can have more than one extension number which your callers can use to directly reach you. To add a new extension number to an existing user, please follow the steps below.

  1. On the top navigation menu, go to Settings.
  2. Choose Phone and then Extensions.
  3. Click on Add extension button on the right side of the page.
  4. Then you can choose which user you will add an extension to and type in a new extension number.
  5. Click save to complete the process.

You can display all your extensions by going to Profile > Extensions.

On this page, you can view and change your default extension number. You default extension number is used for inbound and outbound calls. To change it, click on update default extension button.

Choose your default extension from the list and click save. The system will use your default extension number for reports.
