Mobile Softphone – Grandstream Wave

You can use your Hipcall number in Grandstream Wave application on your mobile phone. Please follow the steps below to add your number.

Firstly, you should go to the Google Play Store or App Store and download the Grandstream Wave app. After running the app, go to the “Settings” in your app menu, at the bottom right corner and select Account Settings

To create a new SIP account, press the + icon in the upper right corner.

To create your own SIP account in the app, select SIP Account.

Fill in your SIP Account details as follows.

Account Name: Type an account name here. (for example, Hipcall)

SIP Server: Type your SIP hostname, which you can find on the Profile – SIP Settings page in Hipcall. (for example, xxxx.hipcall.com)

SIP User ID: Type your SIP Username, which you can find on the Profile – SIP Settings page in Hipcall. (for example, xxxxx9)

SIP Authentication ID:  Type your SIP Username, which you can find on the Profile – SIP Settings page in Hipcall. (for example, xxxxx9)

Password: Type your SIP password which is displayed on the Profile – SIP Settings page in Hipcall.

Display Name: Type a display name or your account name here. (for example, Hipcall)

After filling in your SIP Account details, press the check mark in the upper right corner.

After filling in your account information, the button next to your account name should change to color green. If your account is not activated yet and the button is still red, we recommend that you check your SIP account details again.
